Jen & Mike met at a social event in Downtown Orlando in the Fall of 2006. Standing taller than the rest of the crowd, Jen and Mike felt an instant connection, and began a fun filled and exciting relationship. They took their love to new heights when Mike proposed to Jen on the Fourth of July, 2008 at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort underneath a spectacular display of fireworks. Jen and Mike were married at the Knowles Memorial Chapel on the beautiful campus of Rollins College, followed by a high-energy reception at the Orlando Museum of Art.
Best Original Idea – Each guest was secretly given a pair of Thunderstix noisemakers, imprinted with the couple’s names and wedding date. The lively guests used these to welcome the new Mr. & Mrs. Anderson into the Museum. Jen had purchased the Thunderstix to surprise Mike as a nod to his days playing college basketball in packed arenas. However, if you ask Mike, he’ll tell you the best original idea was supplying all of the men in the wedding party with light blue NBA sweatbands to wear during the reception, because with all of the dancing it was sure getting hot!
Best Memory - Saying “I DO!!!!”
Best Splurge – Hands down it was the photography! Domenico and Cecily Castaldo are such a talented team. They use creativity and artistry and take photography to a whole new level. They have provided us with a wonderful mix of traditional and photojournalistic photos that encompass the true feeling of our big day.
